For dermatology, podiatry, optometry, sleep, pain, OB/GYN and pediatric clinics

Specialty work deserves more than a generic SOAP note.

Pick your specialty during onboarding and the visit types, templates and prescriber setup follow it, so a sleep lab and a podiatry office get different systems from the same platform.

Templates written for someone else

Each specialty brings its own visit types: skin checks, diabetic foot exams, home sleep test pickups, drug screens, prenatal visits and well-child checks.

Photos and lesions in a camera roll

Dermatology uses the same consented photo sets and procedure records as an aesthetics practice, attached to the patient's chart.

Controlled prescriptions with no audit trail

Pain and sleep clinics sign Schedule II–V prescriptions through DoseSpot's EPCS, and the PDMP requirement sits on the configuration every prescriber works under.

By specialty

What each clinic gets on day one.

Dermatology adds cosmetic consults and a retail shop. Podiatry adds wound care and facility or home visits on a route. Optometry adds a basic eye exam with acuity, refraction and pressures. Sleep adds sleep technologist credentials. Pain management adds drug screens and controlled prescribing. OB/GYN adds the prenatal visit note, and pediatrics adds the well-child note with guardians.

  • Pain: drug screen visits and PHQ-9, GAD-7, AUDIT-C
  • Optometry: glasses pickup and adjustment slots
  • Derm: teledermatology by video
  • Podiatry: diabetic foot exams and routine foot care

Multi-specialty groups

Several specialties, one front desk.

A group that runs dermatology on Monday and podiatry on Thursday picks both at onboarding. Their visit types, templates and roles merge into one workspace with one patient list, one inbox and one Bridge for the owner.

  • Podiatry facility and home visits routed with mileage
  • Home sleep test pickups as 20-minute slots
  • Sleep results reviewed by video
  • One fee schedule for superbills across specialties

Basic means basic

Optometry includes a general eye exam template, not device integrations or optical lab ordering. Dermatology has no body-map lesion tracker yet; lesions are documented in the note and photo sets.

Questions

Can one clinic have dermatology and a med spa side?

Yes. Choosing both combines their visit types, templates and features, and the photo and procedure records serve both services.

Does pain management get PDMP reminders?

Controlled prescribing and the PDMP rule are part of the pain configuration, and your note templates can carry a PDMP-checked field. The PDMP itself is queried through your state's own portal.

Does podiatry support visits at nursing facilities?

Yes. Facility and home visits are a 30-minute staff-booked type, and they land on a driving route with mileage like any other mobile visit.

Can CPAP usage data come in automatically?

No device integrations are included. CPAP follow-ups are a 20-minute visit type, and usage from the manufacturer's portal is written into the note or attached as a document.
